Adam Pinto at GDC

gdc15_logo-512x209Hey Guys!
I’m Adam Pinto and I’m the programmer working on Clockwork. We just got back from GDC and I thought I’d go through my experience and the struggles of GDC.
As soon as we arrived into San Francisco it was a rush of trying to get everything as perfect as possible for the convention. It was very intense moment for the entire team as we were incredibly excited to show the progress of the game, but also incredibly scared of things going wrong or everyone hating our progress.
Eventually we were all finished and ready to relax. Letting us finally check out some of the sights of the city, which was an awesome experience for us, relieving some of the more intensive implications of game development.
But the funny thing is, as soon as the first day hit, we didn’t really feel the stress anymore, people seemed to really love the game and showed so much enthusiasm towards us that it all melted away, almost instantly. We actually started to have fun. Lots of fun.

The next couple of days were an absolute blast, we got to experience a lot of new people, got great feedback and met some incredibly inspiring people. I speak for the entire team in saying that we’ve learnt a huge amount from the convention and can’t wait to take all the feedback we’ve gotten to make Clockwork even better than it ever could be. Wish us luck, and there’s so much more currently at work that we can’t wait to share with all of you.
